Join us for a lecture on Pennsylvania Women and Their Fight for the Vote on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. The lecture will take place in the Sill Boardroom on the second floor on the Von Liebig Building at Juniata College. The lecture is jointly sponsored by the Huntingdon Copunty Historical Society, The American Association of University Women – Huntingdon and the Juniata College Office of the Provost.
The speaker is Amanada Owen, Executive Director of the Justice Bell Foundation. She will tell us about the history of the Justice Bell, a rallying point for suffragists during the fight to obtain the vote for women. The Justice Bell travelled all over the state and the country, including an overnight stop in Huntingdon in August of 1915.
