Ice Cream Social and Cookout

Come join us for a free cookout and ice cream social on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. or while supplies last.

We’ll be serving up hotdogs, hambgurgers and ice cream in celebration of America’s 250th. The event will take place in our garden on Fourth Street in Huntingdon between the McMurtrie House and the Exhibit Gallery. Enjoy the beauty of the summer flowers and meet our staff, volunteers and board members.

While you’re here, stop in at the Exhibit Gallery (100 Fourth Street) to view a collection of images taken by East Broad Top Railroad photographer Matthew Malkiewicz. The exhibit will be open from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on July 3rd.

After the cookout and ice cream social, plan to join the Ghosts of Huntingdon walking tour led by April Feagley, a member of our Board of Trustees. The tour will meet at the corner of Penn and Fourth Streets.

All these events are free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated.
